How this guide is made
Open Source Crafts is an independent decision guide to the ArtCraft AI Crafting Apps. This page explains who writes it, where the facts come from, and what we have deliberately not claimed.

An independent developer, not ArtCraft.
This site is built and maintained by an independent developer who follows open-source creative tools. It is not an ArtCraft property, is not endorsed by ArtCraft or the Storytold team, and carries no affiliate links in this edition. Nothing here is sponsored.
02 / SOURCES
Where the facts come from.
App names, categories, status labels and platform lists come from the official Crafting Apps directory, last checked October 10, 2026. Repository numbers on the GitHub roundup come from the public GitHub API, fetched October 10, 2026 and baked into the page at build time — a snapshot, clearly dated.
Official status labels are official claims, attributed as such. Where we advise caution, that is editorial guidance based on the release stage, not a reported bug.
03 / HONEST LIMITS
What we have not done yet.
We have not installed, benchmarked or stress-tested the Crafting Apps, and no page on this site claims otherwise. When hands-on testing happens, results will be published separately and labelled with the version, platform and date of the test.
